Electric heavy-duty actuator for marine and offshore applications

At Arcim we have developed electric heavy-duty actuators for offshore use, to replace hydraulic solutions, which is widely used today.

Lifetime lubricated, requiring a minimum of maintenance.

Dimensions, pressure force and speed:

• Operational from 45°C to -20°C.
• Operational speed full load: 3000mm/min – 14500mm/min, higher speed achievable with reduced in loads
• Stroke length up to 6 meters
• Same force in both directions.
• Precise load control

Drive motor :

• Voltages 24-80VDC, and 230VAC single phase, 3X360-690 VAC, 50/60HZ

• Position indicator

Motor type: DC, brushed and brushless, permanent magnet motor or normal squirrel cage/ induction motors with built in:

• • PTC sensor
  • Heating
  • Brake
  • PT 100
• Can be delivered with a battery package and charger
• Motor can be delivered with brakes.
• 200% starting torque
• No pressurized hydraulic oil
• Grease filled
• Bio oil filled
• Only uses electricity when it is moved/activated.

Control:

• Positioning
• Readout, current, torque, speed, and power via the driver.
• Can be controlled via Ethernet tcp/ ip, Can bus, profinet
